A History In the Medical Industry
While Amy Tyler currently works in the insurance industry, she has a long history of working in the medical industry in various aspects. She spent 27 years in the pharmaceutical world. Here she worked as a representative, a manager, and a director. During this time, she worked with a variety of pharmaceuticals, including ones that treat Cardiovascular disease, Neurological problems, Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, cancers, infectious diseases, and more.
Additionally, she has worked in the health and wellness industry, rounding out her experience. Amy spent 7 years learning more about various approaches to healthcare.
A Life-Changing Experience
Several years ago, Amy’s professional life changed thanks to an experience she had with her own private insurance. Amy and her family were facing a very scary diagnosis, and her personal agent went above and beyond the call of duty. The agent spent time with Amy’s family member and walked them through all the challenges associated with stage 3 cancer. This conversation was enlightening and beneficial for the patient as well as the family.
This incredibly positive encounter showed Amy how impactful a skilled insurance broker could be.
In an instant, she knew that she wanted to offer others the same kind of comfort. She wanted to help others as they navigate the complicated healthcare system. So she became an insurance broker, and she has dedicated herself to serving her clients to the best of her ability.
